Come as you are.
Stay for a While.
We’re rooted in family values, hands-on craft, and a peaceful setting
that makes it easy to slow down and settle in.

The HP Experience
we believe wine should feel personal.
That’s why we offer guided tastings instead of flights, warm hospitality instead of formality, and a peaceful place to slow down. Our hope is simple: That you leave feeling welcomed. That you taste the intention in every sip. And that you decide to come back again.
Because it always gets better the second time.
Our Story
Rooted in Land. Renewed with Intention.
The Land
If you were walking the property with us, we’d start at the farmhouse.
Built in the late 1800s by the Cooley family, it now serves as our tasting room and gathering space—a place where history still lives in the walls. In 1996, the property became the first winery in Yadkin County, laying the foundation for what Hanover Park would become.
Today, that legacy continues—just with a new vision guiding it forward.
A New Chapter
When the Vizcaino family purchased Hanover Park, they saw more than a vineyard. They saw potential for a family-run working farm rooted in craftsmanship and hospitality.
Under owner and winemaker Carlos Vizcaino, Hanover Park has been thoughtfully reimagined. The tasting room and patio have been refreshed. The Barrel Barn is being restored. And the focus has shifted toward small-batch wines made with intention and care.

A Working Farm. A Winemaker’s Perspective.
Hanover Park is more than a tasting room, it’s a working farm. Sheep graze the fields. Some of the oldest vines in the region continue to deepen in character. More than 20 acres of farmland stretch across peaceful, pastoral views.
Carlos, a former chef and sommelier, brings a flavor-first philosophy to every bottle. His experience in Oregon and Miami shaped a style that blends European technique with a modern edge—resulting in estate wines crafted for balance, structure, and depth.
And when you visit, you’ll likely meet him pouring your tasting himself.
